One of only 129,449, this collector's coin, presented by the Franklin Mint Collectors Society to its members, is dated August 28, 1971. The coin, measuring approximately 13mm across, comes with a certificate of authenticity that certifies that the coin was made from a special melt of silver into which was placed 10,000 grains of silver that was carried aboard Apollo 14 on its voyage around the moon.
