This pewter medal, in absolutely pristine GEM BU condition, with the date 17 January 1781, reads, “GULIELMO WASHINGTON LEGIONIS EQUIT PRAEFECTO, COMITIA AMERICAN”.
On the reverse this medal reads:
QUOD PARVA MILITUM MANU STRENUE PROSECUTUS HOSTES VIRTUTIS INGENITAE PRAECLARUM SPECIMEN DEDIT IN PUGNA AD COWPENS XVII.JAN.MDCCLXXXI”.
