      The Dwight D. Eisenhower Commemorative Gold Medal was issued in tribute to the 25th anniversary of Eisenhower's first inauguration. The obverse bears an original portrait sculptured by America's greatest medalist Gilroy Roberts. The reverse carries the inscription “... each citizen plays an indispensable role,” a phrase taken from Eisenhower's first inaugural address delivered on January 20, 1953 in the nation's capitol. The medal is minted with a full proof finish in .500 fine gold.

      You'll receive this medal encased in it's original tamper-proof holder, complete with stand that allows you to proudly display this limited edition medal with pride. You'll also receive a booklet describing the medal, the artist Gilroy Roberts, a brief history of this 34th president, and the original certificate of authenticity.
