1992 National Forests 100 Years
Golden Eagle Silver Medal

      I must admit I don't know a thing about this medal aside from what it reads. I've searched my reference books and the internet and have not found a single entry. Although the National forest Service was established in 1905, and celebrated it's centennial in 2005, this coin was produced in 1992.

      The coin reads “National Forests 100 Years, U S Forest Service Department of Agriculture” on the obverse and “Golden Eagle, 1992” on the reverse. It measures 37mm across.
