The National Trust for Ireland certifies this St. Patrick's Day Cachet contains an authentic Limited Edition Proof Medal commemorating the important mile-stones in the life of Ireland's Patron Saint, St. Patrick; that the medals were designed and sculptured by the Irish artist Gabriel Hayes O'Riorden; and that they were minted entirely from pure (.999) Irish silver.
Combined with a special commemorative cachet, bearing the St. Patrick's Day postmark of Dundealgan (Dundalk), County of Down, these cachets were issued in strictly limited quantities. The dies for the medals have been canceled and presented to The National Trust for Ireland, so these medals can never be minted again.
