      The accompanying Certificate of Authenticity assures this to be an authentic Medallic First Day Cover as defined by the United Nations Postal Administration, containing a First Edition Sterling Silver Proof of the Official United Nations Commemorative Medal and a specimen of the Official United Nations Commemorative Stamp issued on September 11, 1972, in commemoration of the twenty-fifth Anniversary of the Economic Commission for Europe.

      This First Cay Cover is complete with the original envelope (shown below) with the First Day Stamp in place, protected by the official issue, blue, protective cover, and story card of Economic Commision for Europe “Opening New Vistas Through Economic Co-operation”.
