These coins can be found in the 2007 STANDARD CATALOG OF WORLD COINS 34^th EDITION catalog by Chester L Krause and Clifford Mishler.

      These pieces are known as Liberty Head Nickels. They were first struck in 1883 with only the large letter “V”. Later that same year the word CENT was added due to some centless coins circulating with gold plate and passed as five dollar coins. The last year of issue was 1913, but only five of this year are known to exist.
