      An interesting “tidbit” for you regarding the public's view of the early Standing Liberty Quarter Dollar is that the design was changed in 1917 because of public resentment to Liberty's exposed breast. No proof coins or this type were officially issued although specimen strikings of the first variety are known to exist. Remember, I do not buy and sell coins.
