Each coin is an official issue by the government of the Bahamas and limited to a production of only 750 Worldwide. Minted of .999 pure silver & weighing over two pound each, these Proof coins are encapsulated in hard plastic and will arrive in their original wood presentation case.
One of the reasons so few coins were made was that each one was indiviually crafted with painstaking care. Most of the world's Proof coins are struck just twice to bring out the high relief finishes and sparkling backgrounds -- but each of these coins were struck an amazing 5-6 times each to achieve its exceptional Proof finish. This dazzling mirror-like finish is evident when you look close... you can see the reflection of my camera in the lower right corner of each coin.
Each coin comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity from The Central Bank of the Bahamas.
