This is an original Canadian 1977 22 karat gold Proof coin minted by the Royal Canadian Mint for the Queen's Silver Jubilee under authorization of the government of Canada.
The obverse bears Sir Arnold Machin's acclaimed effigy of the Queen, surrounded by the legend "Silver Jubilee · Elizabeth II · 1952 — 1977 · 25 ans de règne". The reverse depicts a graceful bouquet of flowers — floral emblems of Canada's ten Provinces and two Territories, with the legend: "Canada 100 Dollars".
