This is a 1989 1 oz Panda Platinum Proof Coin, issued by the People's Bank of China, minted by China Mint Company and distributed by China Gold Coin Incorporation. The obverse depicts the Temple of Heaven and the reverse the panda. The coin is 32 mm in diameter, 99.95% in composition, contains 1 ounce of pure platinum and has a total mintage that was not to exceed 3,000 pieces. This is Certificate number 1,123. This Proof coin is encapsulated in hard plastic, then sealed again in a soft plastic envelope. It will arrive in its original wood presentation case and protective box.
