This is truly a limited edition set and is official 'Legal Tender' of this nation. The accompanying Certificate of Authenticity declares that no more than 238 Temple Editions were issued by the Peoples Bank of China. This is set number 112.

These Proof coins are encapsulated in hard plastic and will arrive in its original laquered wood presentation case. The case is then wrapped in a protective foam sleeve that is closed with a Peacock feather and placed in its decorative red storage box.

To enhance the knowledge of Chinese culture, the government of The People's Republic of China commemorated the lifework of Lang Shih Ning by capturing "Peacocks Showing It's Fine Feathers" on a set of silver legal tender coins. Each set consists of one 5oz. .999 Silver Proof 50 Yuan coin, and one 1oz. .999 Silver Proof 10 Yuan coin. Both coins are legal tender for the People's Bank of China, minted by Shanghai Mint of China Mint Company and available in strictly limited quantities.
